We are looking for two qualified and motivated Medical Assistants to instruct our Medical Assistant program. Duties include but are not limited to teaching our MA program. Requirements: Certification with RMA required Graduate of a Medical Assistant program preferred Applicants must have at least three years documented and verified clinical work experience Must have experience teaching anatomy, physiology, and terminology; pharmacology; assisting at exam and treatment; professional office practice; hematology; and phlebotomy. Individual must be professional and proficient in all phases of Clinical and Laboratory Medical Assisting Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Responsibilities: Maintain a teaching assignment for each module Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus/outline provided, to assure course content and objectives are met Distribute a copy of the module calendar to all students at first class meeting. Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students Design, administer and grade examinations to assess achievement of course objectives as identified in the syllabus Actively work to maintain retention in all classes taught, by maintaining accurate attendance records daily, calling all students who are absent, and recording absentee information in roster after each class meeting and communicating attendance concerns to the Program Chair or Director of Education. The Computer Networking Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction to students by ensuring student satisfaction through the classroom or laboratory setting according to the program objectives. Teaches material from approved curriculum and develops daily lesson plans to include instructional aids. Participates in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate, and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc. Motivates students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with college standards. Maintains expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design. Instruct students in laboratory safety procedures if applicable. Performs duties in the Learning Resource Center as assigned. When possible, participates in core course academic support programs, certification programs, and student professional associations. Requirements: Minimum 3 years applicable experience in system administration, network architecture, GUI, NT, TCP/IP, LINUX, LAN/WAN, or Novell and 15 semester hours in the subject matter area is required. Bachelors degree required MCSE, MCP, CNE, CCNA, CCNP, and/or CNA is preferred. Evening hours may be required. Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills required. Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material. Experience in organizing and writing reports and presentations of a technical nature.
